  1. LOL, I'm seeing all these high mileages. I've had my car for just over a year now and only have 5500 miles on it. Covid has certainly put a damper on my driving frequency.

  3. I’ve only had mine since July and have put on 1,500 miles. As I work from home I don’t travel all that often. In fact, my previous car, the Electric Smart only saw 11,000 miles in three years.

Approaching 12,000 miles, totally trouble free since leasing last October. When COVID began we started driving about 280 miles a week to pick up our grandson to cut his working from home parents a break. That will abruptly stop next week when he returns to school, posing too high a risk for our exposure. Averaging 4.5 miles/Kwh, mostly highway and 3 people in the car, plus AC a lot. Full charge equals about 290 miles. We love this car, we'll consider end of lease purchase, but think we'll want to upgrade, we'll see what 2 more years brings.

Now that more than two years have passed since the beginning of thread, and lot of time since the last post, Anyone crossing 100000 Mi in Kona EV?

How is overall experience? Do you see any range deterioration? Any maintenance issues?

I bought Kona EV less than two months back. I will be using it about 30,000 Mi/year. So I will get there in 3 years.

Got my red 2019 Kona Ultimate in 3/19. It now has 70,000 miles. The range batteries were replaced by Hyundai in November 21. 12 volt replaced in January 22. Electively changed gear box oil 1/22. Got new tires.
The car has been wonderful & I enjoy driving it.

We just passed 50k miles on our 2019 and got battery changed around 35k I think. So far still running great. I don't think I noticed too much degradation with the original battery before we swapped it out, but if there was any, it was probably under 10%. No maintenance issues other than just having to take it in to the dealer for it's regular checkups. Will need to get new tires soon.

  9. Bought July 2019. I stayed home for 18mo so I'd be over 100,000km if that were not the case. As is, I just crossed 70,000km this week. :) Battery replaced under recall at 65,000km-ish.

  10. Due to the pandemic I may, for the first time ever, have a car that has the the aspect of the warranty run out before the milage part does. 3+ years and haven't hit 41,000km yet.
