Just use plugshare and only count on reliable chargers.. I learned my lesson when I brought the car home from Maryland.. Never rely on a single charging location as the chargers may not be working..

I was looking at your avg kwh of 5.

I am only achieving 12 kwh and I always drive in ECO mode with auto regen and nothing but the GPS and radio turned on.

I guess the difference must be due to the nicer climate where you are. It's 11 Celsius where I am, so roughly 50 F compared to the 80F shown on your picture. Can't wait for next summer. :)

We had 33 to 35C until 2 days ago. The last days habe been cloudy and only about 28C for the high and 22C for the low.. we may see around 16C in the morning in 2 to 3 days with highs around 30C. I was not running the AC for 2 days now..

  8. BlueKonaEV beats me. I also hit 10,000 miles, but I've had the car since March.

  13. 3200 miles as of July. Planning on bringing it in when I hit 5000 miles for a tire rotation and to also bring up the issue with the brake noise (brake pad clip issue) and the periodic rumbling noise I hear at low speeds.

We bought our Kona EV in February 2019 and we have only 4900 kilometers on it. We had the brake pads and and clips replaced early on due to loud clunking sounds. We bought a Soul EV in July and use it instead of the Kona due to head room and comfort. The Kona has twice the fit and finish quality of the Soul EV, but the Soul had the comfort for stiff senior bodies and equally as good technology and larger and better GPS screen. If the Kona had more head room and rear space for our dogs and crates, we would prefer the solid Kona. However no clunking has occurred with the Soul EV thus far, and when I drive the Kona I still get unusual sounds with the braking--not like the bottom dropping out sounds before the new pads and clips were done but still annoying. The plan is to trade in the Kona in February but we have to wait for a year having placed or we would have to refund our EV grants.

WOW, and I thought that I drive a lot... I'm only at 16800 right now on track for about 35k miles per year.....

  17. Awesome! This is the kind of post I love to read.:)
All trouble free I assume and still working the OEM Nexans?
Keeping to topic , I have accumulated just over 6100 km since Feb

just crossed 17k miles this morning... I started running behind on my 3000 mile per month pace.. It'll be 6 months of ownership in 2 days.. Right now, my monthly average has dropped to 2884 miles per month, around 35k miles per year..

42000mi. ..OEM Nexans look maybe 1/2 gone. No issues with car so far. Knock on wood//

  20. How is 42k miles even possible? I mean, do you ever stop driving?

He already posted that he drives 180 to 203 miles per day.. At that rate, it's very possible. I have a co-worker who commutes 100 miles every day each way, so 200 miles per day... so it is possible.. I average 80 to 120 miles per day.. I'm just under 18000 miles. I will likely be over 18000 miles today.... since June 28. The only reason why I'm a little behind my 100 mile/day pace is because I was out of town for 5 days at the End of November and those 500 miles that I couldn't drive were missing on December 28 when I hit 6 month of ownership..

  22. Man, all I can say is commutes like that would do me in. On the plus side, it looks like we will quickly have some high mileage examples to get data about!
