Hi all - in my Kona EV, the wireless charging pad was essentially worthless - very slow, and really just functioned as a phone heater I disabled it after about a month. Is the charging pad in the I5 better? If it isn't I will just disable it from the get-go and be done with it.
I have no hard evidence, but I expect all of these chargers are designed to conform to a standard and therefore perform similarly. Certainly wireless charger is less efficient than wired charging.
