Tesla just crossed $1000 and with that exceeded Toyota's valuation by $7+ billion dollars. Of course Tesla is sooo much more than an auto maker it is also the future and present of energy, but this means a pure EV automaker is now the highest valued automaker in the world. What a rocket ride it has been to take the top spot but this is the end of ICE. And it coincides with the Tesla Semi starting volume production as of today. 17 years to the top!!!
Yup, reminds me of the dot com boom/bust. TSLA stock at $1000, while book value only at $35. Paper money can vanish in a flash, if everything doesn't go perfectly.
