I made a reservation ages ago in case I wanted an ID4. It's just crawling along at a snail's pace. In the meantime, many ID4s are now available for purchase on the lots. I received an email saying there are 100 coming into my local dealer. Still no movement on my reservation.

I don't care, because I think I'm cooling on the ID4, but I find it odd. It seems like they should either work on a reservation system or not.

After experiencing a 100% reservation system with Tesla, the dealer model seems dated. It seems like a waste of people power. I hope they figure out a better model for the ID Buzz, but it doesn't look like it is happening.

You've shown that the third choice in your survey, "Combination of online and traditional," doesn't work to get an EV quickly. GM is currently offering a reservation list for the Blazer EV, but sending potential customers to dealers (who know nothing) for the Equinox EV.
