I have noticed the last few times that I have charged my Leaf, that the range estimator is going up each time. For several times it was right around 234, then it went up to 255, and this morning it was 272. Has Nissan performed an over the air upgrade that has boosted the range?

Nissan hasn’t boosted your range. It is more likely your last few trips have been around town where the Leaf excels in range so the guess-o-meter is reflecting that range increase.

I have a 2018 40kwh Leaf S. This is the Goldilocks time of year for Leaf range in Kingston Ontario. When tooling around town for a few days then charging up to full for an out of town run I sometimes see the GOM show a few whiskers over 300km range. After the out of town trip if I charge to full for another out of towner I'll see a calculation of around 270km maybe 260 if I've been using the a/c. Still not too shabby. The car is rated for 240km combined highway/city so I'm not complaining
