Hello everyone new to ev’s, good background in electrical.

I just got a RAV4 prime. I’m looking into charging at work and using a portable lvl2 charger. I only have 240v 100amp receptacles available. I know theoretically it would be fine to make a pigtail from 100amp to 20amps and rely on the contactors in the charger but it doesn’t make me 100% comfortable…
    Any advice?
    Thank you.

If you are looking to get 20A it sounds like you only have the standard 3.3kW onboard charger if you didn't upgrade to the premium 6.6kW charger. With a 18.1kWh battery you could even charge at level 1 0-100% SoC in 12 hours and it's very likely you won't be arriving to work at 0% SoC anyways. I'd just stick to Level 1 for RAV4 Prime charging at work.

It's not a problem, the charger controls the current.
