Opinion on regenerating brake

    My son claims that using regenerating pedal on car uses more battery than using brake pedal…opinions?

    No….he is a great son but I don’t always agree with him.

    No. There is some debate more broadly around coasting vs regen. Coasting is possible if you lift off just enough that the power needle sits in between power and regen.

    Tell him to use internet to learn about EVs regenerative braking system I’m sure he don’t know how to use a hammer .

    It's not a matter of "opinion" when it comes to regenerative braking.

    It's simple engineering.

    Your son either didn't actually read how regenerative braking works or didn't comprehend the science of it.

    Either way, he's incorrect snd it's not a matter.of opinion. It's scientific fact.
