Hi, remember how Tesla added that titanium plate underneath the car to protect the batteries a few years back (on the Model S I think) - does the Kona Electric have a similar protection plate underneath? I can see the battery pack protruding and was wondering what kind of protection (if any) Hyundai put under?
Here's a link to a YouTube video in which Edmunds compares the Kona to the Chevy Bolt. At 2:30 they put the cars up on lifts to inspect the bottom. It appears the Kona's battery is protected by an aluminum plate.
