Not really an EV question, but has anyone tried to reach Hyundai Motor Finance the last few days? Neither the phone system nor the "email us" function on their website seem to be working. I noticed that their main postal address is in Dallas -- have they been knocked offline by the freeze and blackouts?
Yeah, same thing. My guess is that they are offline due to power outages. A lot of people who live there might be dealing with burst pipes, so even when the power is back on, the employees might need to be taking time off for emergency cleanups and repairs.
I ran into the same thing between Saturday and yesterday. It looks like a massive system update but perhaps it’s related to the TX power outages? It seems back to full strength as of today.
I was able to reach them today, so apparently things are functional again. That said, I suspect their staff receives some sort of special training in how to be as unhelpful as possible.
