  1. The dynamics of the reservations is a reasonable question, but I don't think we have any reasonable way to guess what's happening there. For one thing, I don't think the EV6 reservation is comparable to the Ioniq 5 reservation... The EV6 reservation seems to be for the first edition, which we can probably assume to be severely limited in number. The Ioniq 5 reservation is for the primary release (as the Project 45 edition is not being released in the US) and thus there are probably way more of them (and it is unclear if it's a limited reservation or essentially a waitlist for when real units ship). Furthermore, we don't really have insight into production vs demand and allocation between countries. Best we can do is wait and see. In any case, hopefully prices will be comparable to their competitors.

    No, the power from the roof panels actually goes straight to the Main Battery Pack
    Quoting the first reports from February:-
    Hyundai says that the solar panels can add up to 2,000km per year (around 5-6km per day) of additional range if it's driven in sunny environments such as Spain or the south of France.
    So here in the UK, that should give me an extra 25 miles per year if its a really good Summer :cool:
