Not really. The major part of the discussion is about which form of infrastructure will spur the most sales in the short term. I would say that it is pretty obvious that in the medium to long term there won't be much of an incentive to put additional Level 2 chargers in places where cars do not sit over night.
The word ground in your post is exactly why I mentioned roof in my post. Can you fit 6k on your roof? I can't and my house has 5400k of conditioned space. 6k would also not cover my house only needs. How many people can do a ground based system? Soon I will moving and will evaluate solar again at the new place. I now have acreage and the option of ground based solar. Most people in this country don't and think a "few" solar panels on their roof can power their house and everything else. That's a lie for the majority, it cannot. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
