Check out the F-150 Lightning Pro - the cheap one

  1. We've seen the Ford F-150 Lightning in its top trim lots by now. It's got fancy lighting and the big vertical screen you'll see in the Mustang Mach-E. But a lot of people are really going to want the cheaper Pro trim, because it gives you all the capability of the Lightning in a plainer, but more affordable package.

Now there's a video giving us not only a great look at the interior and exterior differences, but there's also a cool, though brief, riding session.

The big difference on the outside is the grill isn't fancy, just plain black, and that light strip doesn't go all the way across the top of the grill. Same with the back - the red light strip doesn't go across the tailgate.

Inside, the materials shown in the video are basic vinyl, but apparently decent enough quality. And, instead of the big Mach-E screen, you get the display that's in some higher trims of the regular F-150. It's more integrated into the dash, horizontal, and some might actually prefer this setup.

Finally, you have to check out the driving portion. Basically, a Ford employee drives the video host around a cone course in a parking lot. There's a good amount of tire squeal as he aggressively attacks the course. People are going to love this truck.
