I currently own a Clarity PHEV and would like to strike whilst the iron is hot on trade-in/used car prices. I am intrigued by the EUV. Would a lease be the best way to go, or an outright purchase? I *sort of* wish I'd leased the Clarity, especially since they've 'discontinued' it.

Thanks for your insights (not a Honda pun, I promise)

Also considering. A couple of things to think about:

Need to upgrade to the Premier trim to get adaptive cruise control which will likely bring price to over $40k.

    No federal tax credit.

Chevy does not use acoustic glass like the Clarity, so could be louder.

Chevy was somewhat cheap and didn’t use multi-link suspension in the rear, so ride quality a possible minus.

For some reason, the upper lights in the rear do not function as brake lights, only those near the bumper which could be dangerous.

Although the Clarity isn’t perfect, it has some advantages.
