    excerpted from this article:

    https://cleantechnica.com/2019/02/15/sunrise-movement-call-incites-supporters-of-green-new-deal-to-make-climate-crisis-a-visible-crucial-political-issue-cleantechnica-exclusive/

What she says is so true! At this point because of the economics and the science all we need to do to get rid of fossil fuels which is absolutely necessary is the get rid of its related corruption. This beings to properly categorize fossil fuels in an accurate light as crime and criminality- 70 years ago that wasn't true but it has been for a long time and now its out in the open. This is great because it means the US is finally starting to face its real issues.

And yet at the same site Cleantechnica I just saw a shill article by Steven Hanley. https://cleantechnica.com/2019/02/15/intermittency-storage-politics-the-case-for-against-super-grids/

And yet this is the site that is the keeper of Pravdah and has Shahan on its staff. Cleantechica needs to Pravdah itself. Now how can Hanley write this and not be labeled a shill for life. He even seems to be backing away from what he put in the end of the article (first part seems ok) but its in the end where he tries to assert that utilities bills are going up because of renewables and tries to assert that NG is a ridiculous 6kwh instead of 13kwh as its floor and much higher if you do strip away the subsidies- point of the article was to lie about NG costs. He also tries to assert that accounting for renewable intermittency requires keeping gas plants on line to take up the slack and that cost must be added to the renewable bill and that batteries add 35 cents per kwh. Just no- battery backed utility scale solar is down to 3 cents a kwh and if you do your off grid residential system right you an probably beat that and will beat it by huge margins in the not so distant future- NG- it will never ever fall- the level of tech needed to make it fall would obviate it as a source of energy. Also tries to assert that pumped hydro is still a necessity- its not.

So the whole reason for the article despite the reasonable front matter was to assert that NG is somehow competitive instead of new and current NG being fraud, crime and criminality the kind that needs injunctions and prosecutions and pipelines dismantled and contracts voided regardless of the costs to vested fossil fuel interests. Its interesting because I see the US state freezing fossil fuel firm assets in the future- that is the future of asset forfeiture and freezing along with bankruptcies that keep these entities from socializing their losses.

I should note that Hanley tries to hide behind a shill expert to push this FUD.
