There are a lot of technical details about EV charging that are too often behind paywalls. You have to 'buy' the spec or standard. But Weber University has online courses about EVs and this lecture covers the technical details: It is 3 years old and only briefly mentions the Tesla plug. Weber is in the business of training EV and automotive technicians. So they take things apart with the intention of learning how to put them back together. It is great resource for self-maintenance. For example, here is how to access the maintenance manuals and use the Tesla diagnostics: Munro is interested in manufacturing and costing so they take things apart with no interest in putting them back together. But they also figure out how things work. The Munro Open House is a great way to see the hardware as parts. Bob Wilson
I have watched all of professor John Kelly's Weber State videos on the Mach E, which includes a tear down and reassembly of the HV battery .and coolant systems. I found them to be a highly informative series of videos.
