    Hi all,

First post so please accept my apologies if this has already been asked.

Just wondering from other users experiences the following:
    1. Do you use winter mode? There was a post on here, but I think the technical details went over my head about whether this actually is needed or not.
    2. If so, when would you turn this off?
    3. Prior to winter charge range was saying around 300 miles plus, now I'm lucky if it's above 250 - is this normal?
    Thanks everyone in advance!

    64KWh battery, since Jan '22

  3. Just keep it on as it will not draw energy above -5 degrees C best explained here .
Without getting technical, less range is normal in cooler conditions (below 70 degrees F). 250 miles is still decent and pretty much matches the maximum range of 258 miles listed on a new Kona 64 kWh battery pack.
With warming conditions and same driving pattern as you drove before, the range will come back to ~300 miles
    Welcome to the forum;)
