Monday, @Steven B submitted that monstrosity in a post to the "Clarity Was Hit with the Ugly Stick" thread. There have been some weird-looking Maseratis, but none anywhere near as ugly as this disfigured Clarity. That said, I'm preparing to spend thousands to have my new car (its name not permitted on this Clarity forum) disfigured as soon as it arrives--but paradoxically to make it look less expensive, not to make it look like a Maserati.
"That said, I'm preparing to spend thousands to have my new car (its name not permitted on this Clarity forum) disfigured as soon as it arrives" Let me guess, no hood scoop for you.
Personally, this makes me smile. Of course, that's from someone who put a BMW emblem on the hood of his Miata. And has Citroën badges on his Clarity. So take that for what its worth!
This made me remember a guy way back when who wanted so badly a car with tailfins so he welded a couple of steel triangles to the back of his 1950 Chevy. On the other hand, there was recently a guy in Florida who was making a buck selling a "Bentley transforming kit" for Chryslers 300. He got sued...
