Does anyone know how to remove a tail light on the clarity? Something/someone smashed a hole in one of mine and dealer wants $600 to replace it. The part looks like it clips in, but not sure how to remove the old one.

The instructions on my TorqueLift hitch show you unclip and lift back the trunk lining to access them from behind and remove by unscrewing.

Will pull back the lining and see. I saw the clips and ignored the threads because I was picturing how an accords pops out from the side. Probably unscrew from the back and I clip. For reference here is the back of the assembly. IMG_7088.JPG

Wow $600!!!! What's the part cost without installation?

I am absolutely dreading the day that my Clarity needs any repair. I've read that a new windshield is an astonishing 1,500 bucks!!!

I'm 5 months in without literally a scratch- knock on wood:)

The wind shield has a camera on it.

Just for reference, Honda MSRP is $480, dealers around charge >$500 for the part because they feel they can. Quote was $580 not including shop supplies and I think tax. Got the part online for $315 from a Honda a few states away.

But couldn't use just glue the existing camera to a new windshield?

I've heard the double panes glass is why it's expensive.
