We have a 2021 Kona EV and have been very happy with it. The change to an EV has been pretty easy with this car because so much about it is familiar to any car owner.

We did have a problem that took a while to solve and I have not seen mentioned online, so I thought I would drop a short post. We had a persistent clunk in the front suspension (it seemed) whenever going over uneven ground. It turned out to be exactly what it sounded like: a bad sway bar link. Easy to fix and covered under warranty. Don’t know why the local mechanic couldn’t find it, or why it went out after only 20K miles.

Also, lots of bad dealer experiences noted here, but happy to say that Quirk Hyundai in Bangor Maine was great to work with. Same has been true of Quirk VW for my other car.
