Kona Electric 2022 running 5500 km started making rattling noises over bumps from the front left area (Passenger side as RHD Vehicle in Nepal). The service center kept it for a week trying different things diagnoising the suspension and then tried by replaced the gear mount under warranty, after which the noise stopped for a few weeks. However, the noise is back again, and no one can figure out the issue. Anyone else faced anything similar? What may be the issue?
Welcome to the forum. Could the issue be ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) kicking in - any warning light? Did you try turning ESC (Electronic stability Control) off with the crash pad button? If you hold it for more than 3 seconds, the traction control and the brake control function of ESC are disabled. Attaching a video or sound copy may help.
Did you ever figure it out? I am experiencing the same thing. Sounds like something is loose on the left. Maybe the lower cover?
