You can't get the gas-powered Kona in India, but you will be able to buy the EV version there in 2019. I find India to be a very interesting place to watch electric vehicle adoption. With a massive population and huge pollution problems, more people are able to afford electric vehicles there, but the infrastructure may not be as advanced as in other countries. But, they have set an ambitious target of 100% electric by 2030, so it will be interesting to see how they develop infrastructure and which companies make a play to be dominant in that emerging market. In other markets, Hyundai will offer the Kona with a 39.2 kWh or 64 kWh. Will be interesting to see if they make the bigger battery an avaiable option in India.
