That hold the carpet at the rear?
Need to dry the carpet, and these things damage my tuxmat weather mats:

You don't plan to reinstall your Honda carpets when winter comes to an end? The Maxpider 3D floor mats I installed accommodate Honda's fastening system. Why didn't Tuxmat do the same?

Perhaps Tuxmat can advise you on how to modify your Clarity to fit their mats.

  4. It may be pressed onto a “barbed” fitting that projects through the carpet. It could probably be removed with brute force and awkwardness, however, the carpet would need to be pulled up enough to remove part underneath. Or it could be cut off with wire cutters, strong scissors or ...???

Found a way to remove clips - put a screwdriver in front and unclip, see pics.
Now using some female products to absorb couple litres of water from under the carpet. image.jpg

  6. Silicone bags?

Did you consider using a WetVac?
