If US wants to get these cars to the masses, they need to take out the word credit and insert the word rebate.
Well stated, take it right off the purchase price at the dealer (or wherever you bought it) like we have in Canada.
That's a good question and I think unfair. Ultimately a drop in sales price instead of tax rebate would be better as mentioned, too.
