The Genesis GV60 is the official name for the brand's first electric crossover SUV. It will begin first deliveries this year and is the sister car to the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6. Those cars look very different, of course, but underneath they are all on the E-GMP platform and will share many major components. Of course, being Genesis, the styling will likely be more serious and the interior more luxury-oriented. Genesis are keeping their cards close to its chest on this one, but we now have a good number of spy photos on InsideEVs. Here's the front3/4's shot to give you an idea of what to expect. This car may just offer what its Kia-Hyundai siblings lack: high performance with strong styling and a premium feel. For a price, of course. What it will take to sell you on this electric-from-the-ground-up?
Here we are 9 months later and no GV60 in sight. Talked to the local Genesis dealer and they have no idea when it’ll show-up; this is becoming a frustrating recurrence between Hyundai, Kia, Genesis, Audi … no inventory! And when it finally shows-up, dealer markups …..
Apparently they're coming this Spring. Check out this other thread for reservation information. https://www.insideevsforum.com/community/index.php?threads/gv60-priority-one-reservations.13700/
