Bad title, I know. I tend to keep my cars forever, my 2020 Clarity is replacing a 1996 Impala with well over 350,000 miles. I just hope I have as few problems with the Honda. I always put in all weather floor mats and I didn't see them listed from WeatherTech for it, so I bought the Honda ones. (I saw later that they just hadn't gotten them listed for the 2020, but were listed for 2019, so that's on me...) The Honda ones are thin and I wear heel holes in them, so I just added some Dri-Dek over the driver side to take the wear. Simple paper PATTERN to start with, cut, fit cut, fit, PRN. Nice DIY job... you should check out the 3DMaxpider mats for the Clarity. Waay better than the Honda, and waay less than weather techs. I've had them for almost 2 years and no appreciable wear. Covers the dead pedal, too. $97 from Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07HHSD9F1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I liked the TuxMats, no complaints. Costs close to $200. Looks like it's currently out of stock on amazon but it's on Tuxmat's site directly, they are made in Canada and it's a multilayer construction so they have a nice 3 dimensional fit to the vehicle but also have some padding built in. https://www.tuxmat.com/products/420-honda-clarity-custom-mat?year=2021 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079SNS3C2 After 1 1/2 years and 8-9k miles, mine still look brand new. I don't know if they'd work as good with snow (we have no ice/snow here). But they seem really well made. My clarity was totaled a few weeks ago but I saved the mats... Not sure if replacement will be a clarity or not.
