Acne on the face

Looking at my reflection in the mirror, I couldn't help but notice subtle changes in my skin. The bright red bumps that once dominated my face were now pale pink patches. Running my fingers over my cheeks, I felt how their texture smoothed out, it was no longer rough and inflamed, and in this I saw signs that acne is healing. Each morning I woke up to find fewer new breakouts and existing ones seemed less angry and severe. It dawned on me that these were all signs that my acne was finally healing. It was a gradual process, but it filled me with hope and relief.
