Elon Musk finally abandons selling vaporware FSD after having stiffed tens of thousands of customers. Claims it caused confusion, instead of admitting what ti really is: Fraudulently selling vaporware to gullible customers for 2 years.

There won't be any confusion among the jury when it gets to trial. People are smarter than some fraudsters think.

    Are you suing?

There is also needs to be a filing, a court document. What is that case number and which court?

A little Googling and I found the case number. Apparently there has already been a settlement for "Case 5:17-cv-02193":

I appreciate your interest in Tesla lawsuits but without case numbers, they really don't tell us much. If you'll post the case numbers of the other lawsuits, we can see what happened. News reports at best can lead to identification of the specific cases so we can then track the legal filings.

Yes, I think so too. Today wasn't just because of Andrew's reversal. It was also many tweets from Elon and people thinking that moving the earnings date forward is a sign that this earnings report is good. So Andrew just announced his reversal the same day to make people feel like his reversal caused the stock to pop, or to ause a double whammy to pop it even more. But the real reason of the pop could be the advancing of the earnings call.

BTW, just checked Citron's tweet. It is specifically saying "long for this quarter". I'd agree with that. For this and next quarter, results may look reasonable. trouble beings next year with lower Model 3 demand. But I didn't cover all my shorts at 250. The downside potential of $250 looked too juicy to cover it all.
I did that on few occasions in the past though. Now situation at Tesla looks too fragile.

@TeslaInvestors you last posting had facts and data which is orders of magnitude better than rumors lacking facts and data. Granted, this was more about 'short' sellers changing their opinions. Still, organizations and their new opinions helped more than imprecise rumor articles.

  14. I think it was primed to pop. The Citron reversal really got the ball rolling.

And yes, only long for the quarter, at which time they should reevaluate. If you're managing other people's money, it makes sense to not blindly invest (long or short).

See, "TeslaInvestors", you are capable of stating things which are true, if you quit copying anti-Tesla pravduh! Congratulations; now try doing that more often!

Gosh yes, demand will be lower once Tesla starts selling to the European market, and starts selling a wider variety of Model 3's, including the lower cost Standard Range version that so many reservation holders are waiting for.

Ah, well I suppose it was too much to hope that you could stop yourself from making false statements for the length of one entire post. It seems that once you start crying "Wolf! Wolf! Wolf!"... you can't stop.

It's so funny. Anytime the fact is in favor of Tesla, it's fact. If it is not, it's FUD! I just spilled my coffee; you two own me a new keyboard!

Here is another fact coming fresh from Consumer Reports. Seems the early adopter love affair is finished. Now Tesla buyers are nto signing the goodwill NDS and instead openly filing lemon lawsuits and reporting issues mroe honestly.

Not to mention that leasing will also increase demand.

And a much stronger profit than I thought they could! Hooray!

In ShorterLand tonight (aka Earth-2), there will be much wailing and crying, gnashing of teeth and tearing of hair, much renting of clothes! Or, this being the 21st century, maybe they'll just go out and get very drunk.

    Ah, schadenfreude...

I don't expect Tesla's Chinese Gigafactory to begin producing Model 3's in 2019; I don't expect to see that until 2020. Now, it's possible that I'll be proven wrong here; it's possible that Tesla will use the "Production line in a tent" plan to jump-start production. However, as has been pointed out in previous discussions, you can't put everything in a tent. The paint shop and the giant metal stamping machines they use to stamp out body panels probably won't be seen underneath a tent. However, it's possible Tesla could install those (temporarily or otherwise) in a nearby existing building and shuttle things back and forth to the tent.

Domenick, do you think Tesla will ship U.S.-made Model 3's to China for sale? I doubt that's going to happen, so long as Tesla has only a single auto assembly plant. Now, if they start making Model 3's at Gigafactory 1 (in Nevada), that might happen. But the Chinese tariffs on imported, U.S.-made cars is a pretty stiff barrier. So long as there is sufficient demand in the U.S., Europe, and other first-world countries, why would Tesla want to ship any Model 3's to China?

Calm my friend. We need to read the complete, detailed report that probably won't be posted for another 10 days. Musk mentioned the Q1, 2019 debt that may flat-line the profits. But flat-line is a h*ll of a lot better than the alternatives.
