I watched recent video's about problems with heating in winter months. Seems heat pump will use more energy than Tesla's without in in extreme cold. Sudbury is not as cold Winnipeg but close.

I am about 20 minute drive from Tesla superchargers. I can plug into 110V outlet at apartment but will, it allow enough power to precondition battery if it is -30C outside.

If I order the 94 mile range model, will I have big issues in winter. I am less than 1.5 kms return to work.

Basic model 3 more affordable than the Mustang Mach-E. Not altogether comfortable with $53000 + tax

In North Alabama in freezing weather, 1 kW is barely enough. IMHO, at least 3 kW but 8 kW would be best.

What he said. 8 kW is your best bet.
