    Got this welcome news:

Thank you for contacting Tesla Support.

Our system shows that your Tesla is now correctly configured for Full Self Driving and you should be able to access all of its current features. You will also continue to receive updates for future Self Driving features as they get released.

You should also now be able to use your Smart Summon feature to summon your car from a far distance. Please schedule a service appointment and our service team will be able to assist you with HW3 installation.

You can easily schedule for a service appointment through your Tesla Mobile App.
Please refer to the following steps to schedule a service appointment:

    1. Select your car on the Tesla App.
    2. Choose “Schedule Service” and then select the specific service request from the available options.
    3. Describe briefly the circumstances of the service you need.
    4. Confirm your preferred contact details.
    5. On the confirmation screen, you will see your appointment for the first available time at your closest Service Center. Please edit these details if necessary.
    6. Click “Schedule” to submit your request.
Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns and thank you for your support to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.

Care to explain why you paid for the upgrade?

    1. Reading stop signs and traffic lights
    2. More automatic parking modes
    3. Staying ON even if one has to brake for traffic
    4. Completely automated lane changes
    5. 150 ft (45 m) summon range
    6. HW V3 upgrade from V2.5
    7. Continued product improvement (Autopilot will likely have feature freeze)
    8. Avoiding the $1,000 price increase at midnight
I'm also impressed with the pending, Model 3, 5% power increase and continued base car improvements. This Tesla practice of improving the existing cars after the sale deserves reward.

ps. A feature, piss off the Tesla skeptics.
