The article describes exceptions for the Ford F-150 and VW MEB programs, as well as the repair or replacement of SKI batteries used in the Kia Niro EV, but it seems like the Hyundai E-GMP vehicles will be included in the ban since they use SK Innovation batteries (or at least the IONIQ 5). On the one hand, theft of IP is a serious crime, but on the other hand, battery supply is already one of the primary choke point for EV production, and this will only make things worse IMO.
