  3. I had a 2018 Volt for a few months, but I liked the Clarity better so traded the Volt for the Clarity. Prior to that I had a 2003 Subaru Forester and a 2010 Subaru Outback. I wish I still had AWD but I don't want to wait then pay the premium to get the Tesla Model 3 with AWD. I'm not sure how the Clarity will do in the snow but I hope the Continental tires I put on it will suffice for light snow. I have a 4x4 pickup as a backup that sits until I need to haul something.

Our Clarity PHEV with Nokian Hakkapeliitta snow tires was unstoppable last winter. Of course, if the snow gets too deep, the car's sub 6-inch ground clearance could make it stoppable. Your Continentals won't conquer serious snow, but they're certainly a lot quieter than our snow tires.

Insightman, I had to Google that tire name just to see if it was a spell check flummox or you were making it up!
What a name for a tire; I can’t even pronounce it. Glad to hear it lives up to its name.

They're Finnish, which explains the spelling. People in Finland know snow.

2012 Kia Optima Hybrid Touring, now second car

Like the audio, glass roof, ventilated seats, heated steering, power seats

Dislike the power train management, sluggishness, transmission, trunk space, Kia maintenance costs

Best mpg 40, regularly get around 33. Disappointing.

Never heard of the Clarity before finding it on the Honda website in April, researched it for a week, then ordered it after a road test with almost empty battery. Salesman still trying to have me get a CR-V.

So far Clarity has exceeded all expectations.

Waiting for Model 3 deposit refund.

Will get Michelin X-Ice winter tires.

2014 Civic EX-L. Before that a 2009 Civic Si. The EX-L was rated 30 city 39 hwy 33 combined, but over 34,500 miles driven had an average mpg of 37.2. Si was rated 21/29. So my goal has been to improve mileage and reduce cost. I was actually waiting for the 2018 Accord Hybrid to come out when I ran across the Clarity. After driving the Clarity, I bought it that day.

Until Feb, a 2009 Accord with a bit over 100K. Now a 2011 Subaru Outback with about 59K. Before a couple of Mazdas (626, Protege, Tribute).

2003 Lexus GS430 With a gas guzzling V8. Smooth low rpm power and quiet luxurious cabin. The Clarity feels even more responsive, quiet and smooth running in EV mode. Crazy.
