800 V , 900 HP, 1000 lb torque c/w 6 speed manual gearbox! https://insideevs.com/news/380564/ford-mustang-lithium-electric-sema/ Things are starting to get very interesting in the EV world.
Understand that I am only sharing: 800V - should give a greater rpm/power range but this is not linear. In a good design, it only needs to stay within practical, USA speed ranges and this strikes me as being in the ‘reckless driving’ range. Manual transmission - h*ll NO. I don’t have a problem with a transmission provided the control laws eliminate the clutch ... YES clutchless shifting and only 2-4 gears. If someone wants to override the shift points, no problem. Just no clutch. Let us wait until they go on sale but the press releases do not impress me. Bob Wilson
True enough , we will wait for the production of the SUV version before creating a category . https://www.motor1.com/news/374516/mustang-ev-suv-everything-we-know/
I used to own a 2015 Mustang Convertible. It was a great car.. wish that an electric one was available for the public..
