I don't know the rules about citing another publication's article or even a review. Regardless, I enjoyed this one.

    Source: https://www.motortrend.com/cars/tesla/model-y/2020/2020-tesla-model-y-dual-motor-long-range-first-test-review/

... One was a Dual Motor Performance PUP and the other a Dual Motor Long Range. Utilizing an "undisclosed location" that definitely wasn't a quiet road late at night, the test team was able to get the following results: Zero to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds for the Performance and 4.6 seconds for the Long Range. Those are already great numbers, but we knew the Teslas had more in them. Now that we've more accurately recorded performance figures for the latter, we're certain they do.

... the Tesla is dead even with a V-8-powered 2020 Chevrolet Camaro SS. That's right, a five-passenger all-electric SUV hanging with a snarling, snorting Detroit muscle car. And this is the regular-strength Model Y, not even the Performance model.
    ...
Well-worn criticisms aside, the Model Y remains an impressive achievement for Tesla all around. It's a better vehicle out of the gate than the Model 3 was and in a far more important segment. Many of the issues we had with the Model 3 have been solved for the Model Y, and the Model 3 was hardly a bad car. Like its Autopilot software, Tesla is learning and learning fast. Get the body panels on straight, ensure stuff is properly bolted down before it leaves the factory, and we'll really struggle to find something to complain about.

There are more details in the article which I'd recommend for anyone.

No, this article is about but hurt VW trying to get what has been generally the most
accurate but still inaccurate sponsored mag to print inaccuracies about the Model Y Performance in its 0-60 times. Like it tried and failed with the Taycan. Its probably trying to snuggle up to sponsored media like a good parasite after gearing Tesla cut it off thinking if it can get enough paid lies out it can survive or even 'profit.'
    Characteristic groveling minion think.

The issue here is the VW ID4 takes 2x as long to get to 60mph from zero as the Model Y- they don't want that known. If a vehicle took 2x as long as a ID4 to get to 60mph it would be over 14 seconds. And of course the VW is sub threshold on acceptable range. It doesn't even have one peddle driving. It regenerative braking is weak and its way down on driver assist tech. And its not cool like a Tesla.

What all this means is legacy makers along the way to going bankrupt will lose massive market share and their dream of helping fossil fuels some how muddle through will be crushed. Can't wait for the bs out of VW when they go looking for a bailout to save their share holders from getting zeroed out in bankruptcy: if you hadn't sanctioned us for lying about emissions we wouldn't have gone bankrupt. Wrong! You'd have been bankrupt earlier. Shouldn't have demoted Diess if he was what he seemed to be!

I like that Motor Trend tested a customer's car. Too many times automotive magazines test a vehicle which has been handpicked by the manufacturer and has exceptional build quality. Whereas the Model Y that Motor Trend tested had some build issues. Motor Trend said in the review: "Tesla still seems to be focused on speed of assembly over quality, which results in our test model's big and uneven gaps between body panels, one headlight that fits flush and one that doesn't, and B-pillar trim that's fitted properly on one side of the car and not the other, among other things. More concerningly, some owners have reported issues far more dire that could impact safety. Inspect your new Model Y closely before taking it home."
