Production of the VW ID.4 has kicked off in Germany at the automaker's Zwickau plant. Underlining the company's dedication to electrification, the factory is now completely dedicated to producing electric models after an investment of €1.2 billion ($1.4 B). For now, the cars for the U.S. will be supplied from there, but its Chattanooga, TN site will start the ID.4 production in 2022. Check out the video from VW discussing the beginning of production.
