Personally, I think potential buyers would rather see a trim level with more range than more power but regardless, it looks like the Honda e could get a Type R edition.
It doesn't make sense to add a hood scoop to an electric car to make it look fast! An electric car needs a mechanical supercharger poking through the hood to make it look fast. The electric MINI Cooper SE has a blocked off hood scoop to make it clear it's an "S" sibling. It's going to cost me major bucks to have a body shop replace that scooped hood on my upcoming electric MINI with the aerodynamic, unscooped hood of the base MINI Cooper.
