With the software update and the increase in the Hyundai emblem indicator light activity, I decided to have a little fun. After parking and shut off car I left the charge port door open (not charging) and watched for the indicator to came on (at it's usual 3.5 to 4 hour interval). Sure enough, just like the manual says the ring light came on , but not yellow as the manual says but orange (like a pumpkin). My camera doesn't show it well, but give it a try and see if yours is orange as well. It looks like a Kona color show on the front of the car - Green charge bar indicator, yellow indicator light and an orange ring light. This picture from the side better shows the true color If you apply black tape to the ring and leave it facing out at Halloween, you will get this
That's normal. If you leave the charge port open and plugged into the charger and start the remote climate it will change from green to yellow/orange.
