When i bought the car, it came with free Honda Care Sentinel for 24 mo or 24,000 miles. I did not receive a card or any details on it. I used it for my first oil change. Has anyone used the road hazard tire protection? I have a puncture on the side of the tire and wonder if this is covered.

Just went to the dealer, paid $147 for the tire replacement. Pretty good deal considering it’s around $250 elsewhere.

Turns out the coverage is the same as the paid sentinel, it’s only the duration of the coverage that’s different.

Why did you have to pay for the tire replacement?
The document you attached seemed to indicate that Road Hazard Tire Protection is part of the package...

It only covers a max of $150. But if you you sentinel care, honda has a set price that the dealer needs to use, which also gives additional discount.

So, the tire replacement was roughly $300, and the Sentinel knocked it down to $147 ?

    $237 tire + $35 install + $24 tax + $2 misc - $150 warranty = $147 out of pocket.
