2019-2020 season will have Mercedes-Benz and Porsche joining the list of factory backed teams. That list now includes: Audi, BMW, DS, Jaguar, Mahindra, Mercedes-Benz, NIO, Nissan, and Porsche. I know Venturi is also there, but do they actually manufacture automobiles in any meaningful way? It would be nice to see a Japanese manufacturer, as well as someone from North America, but that will come in time.
