Do you participate in Mini Clubs?

I joined the EV club - but I am looking at the MINI club as well. Tesla has its own club, but I would say at least 1/3 of the people in the EV club own a Tesla. None have ever looked down at other cars. EVs are still rare beasts in Australia, and most EV owners are just glad you have one - in fact probably the most curiosity towards the MINI comes from Tesla owners. If ever I am DC charging next to a Tesla, they always come over to have a look. Surprisingly, the thing they like the best is the "steampunk interior" (their words). Apparently Tesla owners have toggle switch envy

 

I love that.

I've had a couple of good conversations with other EV owners at public charging stations.
