So... VW continues to say that the Crozz is scheduled for release in the US in 2020, and (great news) they will be built at the Chattanooga, Tennessee plant. But they're also saying that the factory won't be up and running until 2022 for EVs. Do you think this mean that VW would be importing the Crozz to the US for the first two years, or that we're just not likely to see it until they get Chattanooga up and running? I've got a three year lease on a Chevy Bolt that runs out in 2020, and I'm hoping that the Crozz is available by then. Just wishful thinking?
I think they intend to ship overseas for two years until the Chatanooga plant is ready to go. Cant remember where I read that online.
