Electricity from the HV battery can be disabled by pressing and holding the Power button for a grand total of 3 seconds. Let’s pray that the tech is aware of this nifty feature. Additionally, they will be dealing with the end of the operation that provides 120/240V FROM a wall outlet or charging station TO the charger. Let’s pray that the tech won’t have the car plugged in to a charger while making this repair. It would have been a much more credible explanation if the tech had said we need to do this, that and the other thing, then put it all back together, and it takes 4 hours.
OK so today I got my car back... here's final summary. It was fully covered by warrantee, it took more than a week for the part to come in (and then they told me today after i had dropped it off to be repaired that actually the part did not come in and they had to got to another Honda dealer to get the part). Last week I looked in the car inlet and couldn't really see any pin pushed in. So then i checked my juicebox charge extension cord and i think the pin was actually broken off in the extension... so then I got home to charge and i still had an issue! I'll start a new thread to talk about that....
