At least two Chevrolet Bolts have caught fire while charging.... AFTER having the final recall fix applied by the dealer.

This is very bad news for GM. Now they are going to have to replace every single one of the 67,000 batteries/cars.

GM and NHTSA issued advisories on Wednesday that Bolt owners shouldn't park their cars inside, and shouldn't charge overnight, unsupervised.

As an owner of a 2019 Bolt, with the fix applied,I parked mine outside for the first time in almost 3 years of ownership.

I am contacting GM today about a buyback for my car. This situation in untenable to me.
