Does anyone know if 6.6 kW charging system can be charged on 120V? On Toyota's website they show both a 120V and 240V charging time for the 3.3 kW charger. However, they only show a 240V charging time for the 6.6 kW charger. I know it would take longer, but I need to know that I can still charge the vehicle on 120V. I don't want to have to pay to install a 240v outlet in my garage. Thank you.
I don't have a RAV4 PHEV (but I'm considering buying one), but I read that charging on 120V takes 12A and around 10 hours max. For those with the vehicle, how long is the charging cable? I currently have a Honda Clarity PHEV, which has the charging port on the front driver fender. I believe the RAV4 PHEV has the charging port on the rear passenger fender, which means that I would either need a longer cable or park the car differently.
