Got a blueskysea for now to see how that goes over a Yi I had before but left for my son's car. Currently using suction mount right below the shaded area.

Was thinking about using the 3m sticker instead but concerned that if I need to remove it, it may peel out some of the shaded area. Has anyone had this problem before? On other cars, this area is simply painted so you can still use suction mounts.

How did you get power to the VAVA in the back? What route did you run the cable? Thanks.

Really, do the Owl camera. It’s really a security system for the car and always on. Will record bumps and accidents automatically. Easy to install. Can even watch live whenever remotely.

I plan on getting another Lukas front and rear dash cam setup.
I strongly recommend getting a rear-facing camera if you are worried about having to defend yourself on incidents that occur out of the frame of a front facing only.

Here is a link to how it was installed in my 2017 honda pilot

I will post how I ran wires etc once it comes in and I get it installed
