Quote $22k + tax and fees on a 36 month lease. This is a clarity touring. Sent from my G8142 using Tapatalk
I just bought a clarity early Oct... at Rahal in Mechanicsburg PA and they reluctantly gave me $3700 off of MSRP on a touring model. They don't seem to know anything about these cars. At the time, there were 7 of them on the lot. There was no mention about the state or fed rebates. I don't think they know how to sell them and need to move them off the lot. You could probably get a good deal there.
That's not bad as long as it doesn't include ZEV states incentives, which you wouldn't qualify for. Back in July, my discount from MSRP on a base was $3900, plus an additional $1500 off for ZEV states. (no trade, only $400 of "visible" addons) Most dealers have no idea on how to sell them and may make promises that don't exist. You should qualify for the Fed rebate if you purchase it, and as long as you have $7500 in tax liability, else it would be less. Not sure if PA has any state rebates. Beware of cars that have been sitting in lots for too long. Some had their batteries depleted (which is no good) and some had been infected by insects.
Touring for 33,984 OTD in DFW area. Most likely could have done a little better but the trade in value they gave me was better than all the other dealers by a large amount.
$33,545 Including $50 for the tint. My trade was worth more than the clairity so I had no sales tax My out of pocket was much much lower because of the equity I had on my trade.
Now I'm curious about what car you traded in? Which dealer and any dealer installed accessories other than the tint? Thanks
It had the pro pack on it but I said I was not going to purchase the car if I had to pay for it. So they said they would not charge me for it
I bought White Clarity Touring yesterday for $30,795 ($33,311 on-the-road) on 0.9% loan. Here is the breakup base: $29,900 + destination: $895 + taxes, title, registration:$2,516 Dealer: Ourisman Honda, Laurel, Maryland Heritage Honda, Westminster, Maryland also offered similar price, but didn't had white color in stock.
No. It was a simple purchase. I didn't qualify for military or graduate credit which could have lowered the price further. Now that I have purchase invoice, I will have to apply for federal and state incentives. Clarity Base was approximately $2,000 less, but I didn't negotiate, so I don't know the best price that could be have for that car.
Dealers in certain Northeast states are getting a large kickback from Honda. They also have a special lease program in those states that will get you a base model for around $200 a month. Anyone purchasing a $30K Touring in the Northeast is in one of these states. MD, CT, MA are among the states.
New Clarity NC owner here. Base @ 32900 OTD. The MD and MA prices were atleast 3K lower( i got quotes for 27.5 and 25.2 w/o TTL), but of course valid only for State residents. Happy with my price though. No deals in and around here...
