Minor-Major Modifications to an SE

First thing I did was get a shorter radio antenna on Amazon. And also Mini lights to replace the lights under the door.

Congrats on the new Mini. Nice to see another UK user on the forum. What colour / trim did you go for?
I’ve done a few minor mods to mine, all pretty dull in comparison to the major mods undertaken by @Tifosi.
OEM Mini mud flaps.
Mini all weather mats.
Mini boot mat.
Mini “sport" aerial.
Custom bonnet stripes.
Custom side stripes.
Foam rubber seal around the charge port.
Swapped out the chrome trim for piano black (I changed my mind on the chrome a few weeks before production but left it and the dealer swapped out the light rings, door handles and grill surround before delivery). I’ve still got the chrome belt line trim…for now.

 

I have a 2021 SE Signature model so no sunroof (which is awesome BTW).

• Short antenna
• Smoked side markers (US only for 2020-2021 cars)
• Smoked rear fog lights (US models can't even turn these on)
• 2021 Mini Cooper S front bumper and grill
• Black mirror caps
• Black rear lift gate handle
• Mini rubber floor mats
• Bimmercode with many, many tweaks
• My signature came with 16" wheels and I found some machine faced 17" Mini wheels for it.
• OEM Mini center caps (no yellow)
• Clear side markers from a base model (no yellow)
  
• Front and rear S badges are black (no yellow)
  
• ECS 15mm spacers
• ST X Coilovers
• 65% window tint
• Door jamb PPF

 

I've had mine for about 2 months now:
- Blacked out chrome on head/rear light rings, emblems, belt line, door handles;
- Stubby antenna;
- Smoke side markers (film);
- Bimmercode tweaks.

Near future:
- Blacked out front grille surround;
- energetic yellow painted calipers;
-1 hood scoop (only if a non-S owner wants to trade)!

 

I’m more of a 12v tinkerer. Added a BSD/LCA/RCTA system. Will port over my “ID light” style LED strip when I get some time. Planning a proper illuminated charge port and an at a distance charge/battery indicator (so I don’t have to open app or get right up to cluster.)

The only mod I've done of note is to replace the passenger grab handle with a sun visor.

I was planning to remove the rear seats and build a flat floor, but after I removed the seats, I saw that the middle bracket isn't removable like older MINIs. I just put everything back in as is. We won't take this one camping, so I don't really need the small bit of extra space.

 

Does anyone know the best way to utilize the child seat LATCH rear seats so that you can raise the folded down seats from the boot? I was thinking something like a dog leash tether.
