It does have a heat pump, but no sunroof option (which I use all the time) - just a panoramic glass roof . It is rated for towing and the AWD model looks good. I am a little confused over the stated 400 km range with the 77 kWh usable battery however: https://www.vw.ca/en/models/new-vehicles/id4.html and : https://ev-database.org/car/1273/Volkswagen-ID4-1st I am still happy with my Kona EV and eventually when I trade it in, the replacement will have AWD, sunroof (that opens), heat pump and tow rating - whatever model that may be.
If I had my Kona I would be happy with it. I might be in the market for something sooner than I expected, and while the VW could be interesting, it won't fit my timeline.
