The WeatherTech online configurator accepts 2019 Kia Niro EV, and the all weather mats fit perfectly, down to the OEM hooks in the floor. Pricey, but worth it, IMO...
Also, the WeatherTech mats cover significantly more area than the OEM mats; hardly any carpet is exposed...
Sorry; new here, not a big blogger generally, but want to spread the word about this awesome car. Uh, photos?! OK; I'll see what I can do over the weekend...
OK, those are Niro EV specific they better fit. My dealer is getting me them when they are available through the dealer.
I went to the website and it's true, they have ones specific to the Niro EV. I'll be buying them this evening or tomorrow, I want to see if their cup holders would fit into the Niro's "pop out" cup holders in the middle because their website is right, cup holders collect lots of nasty stuff.
I doubt your Kia dealer will carry WeatherTech gear, which is typically ordered online through their website, but I could be wrong....
Thanks for the recommendation! Lack of OEM all-weather floor mats was a disappointment. The WeatherTech mats arrived within three days of the order and dropped in easily, with perfect fit. I just need a good all-weather option for the cargo bay now.
WeatherTech has a custom fit cargo mat for the Niro, but not the Niro EV; looking at the picture, I'm guessing it will fit. I'm considering it myself...
Has anyone tried this cargo liner for the Niro in the Niro EV? I'm working through paperwork with the dealer now and should be buying my Niro EV on Saturday!! I was looking for alternatives to WeatherTech, but it seems none are configured for the EV yet and the price seems on par with what a competitor might offer anyway. I'll likely get the front and rear seat floor liners, but wondering if this cargo liner would be worth it or if I should get a generic trim to fit one instead.
You may want to consider Tux Mats for your floor liner; some consider them superior to the WeatherTech liners at comparable cost. As for the cargo liner, the WeatherTech for standard Niro fits. The wee bit behind the right wheel well is not covered by the mat, and if you have an EX Premium sound system, you may want to trim a wee bit that would cover the vents for the sub woofer behind the left wheel well...
I have WeatherTech in Highlander and was also going to buy them for my Niro EV. After watching a YouTube review of the Tux Mats, I figured I would give them a try. I definitely think that the Tux Mats are a superior product. I would recommend them over WeatherTech any day. I just wish that they made a cargo liner also. As far as the cargo liner goes, I purchased the OEM cargo liner for the regular Niro, fits great in the Niro EV. I think the OEM cargo liner is also a better product than the WeatherTech cargo liner.
Do the custom WeatherTech mats actually use the OEM floor mat clips on the vehicle to attach? Trying to decide between WeatherTech and the TuxMats for floor mats. I've seen the YouTube video about the TuxMats but would like to see the same for WeatherTech. Re: rubberized cargo mats for the rear cargo area, I am trying to decide between the OEM and the WeatherTech for Niro. What are the differences? Would both have to be trimmed for EV model? Does anyone have photos installed?
