I haven't checked, mostly because I haven't thrown my fat *** on the ground to look. I have to take mine back in to take a bird poop burn out of the clear coat, I'll have them check then. Too bad about Clear Lake. I picked mine up from Gillman last week and they've been good to deal with so far.

I checked this weekend and mine were not installed, but the license plate holder bag had been opened at the dealer (not installed as it is not needed in NC) . That's like, doubling infuriating because I would have just done it myself. I was just down there this weekend, too and forgot to check beforehand.

If you call the dealership...they can have the plugs shipped to you free of charge. It literally takes 2 minutes to install the plugs yourself.

Hope this helps...and saves you the drive. lol

Can anyone provide instructions for installing the plugs? The dealership is 135 miles away...

Picked up a "new" 2018 today - had specifically inquired about the frame plugs and was assured they'd been installed. Got home (135 miles away) and plugged the Clarity into my Siemens Versicharge - and it threw a fault and would not charge. So I dug into the undertrunk storage bin for the Level 1 EVSE and found the bag with the (un-needed) front plate holder and four frame plugs... This is not turning out to be my day... Can anyone provide instructions on installing the frame plugs? I'd gladly do it myself if I knew where/how...

No instructions, but I watched them being installed and the mech/tech sprayed on some lube like WD-40 or something to make it easier to push in.
It’s a plug; it’s a hole. Pretty simple and no torque spec. Even I can’t over engineer this like am prone to.

I found a copy of the Clarity PDI elsewhere in this forum - and it has an illustration of where they're to be installed. I'll check with Honda service to determine the best lubricant to use - don't want to use the wrong stuff and damage the rubber!

  10. I installed them myself. No lubricant needed.

    ^^^ This...

    And only takes 2 minutes.

@Kerbe essentially oversized rubber grommets. Locate oval hole at locations noted in pdi...place groove on rubber plug over frame at one end then work plug all the way around ensuring frame is seated in groove all the way.

    Hope this helps.
